It’s time to get out and refresh your garden and there is no better time than the fast approaching May long weekend!
Perhaps you want to replace those trees or shrubs that did not make it through the winter, add some new plants to your perennial border, or brighten up your window boxes and planters with some bright annuals. Of course there is nothing like the taste of a fresh tomato still warm from the sun in your salad and perhaps you need some new seeds and planting stakes.

With the days getting longer and warming temperatures coming, we hope you are as anxious to start working in your garden again as much as we are.
We have lots of exciting things planned this year at the garden centre. This year our official opening date will be Wednesday, May 2. The opening date is a hint to our exciting first change this year: we will be open more days this season . The Garden Centre will now be open from Wednesday to Sunday each week. Hopefully you will be able to take advantage of our extended hours.
Another change this year is our logo. We wanted to create a new logo that is reflective of our improvements and the growth we have made of the past two years and for our plans in the future.
Each year we try to offer a better selection of plants and garden products then the year before and this year will be no different. We will still be offering a selection of summer bulbs, flower/vegetable seeds, and grass seed, as well as a good selection of annuals, perennials, shrubs and trees, as well as soil amendments.
The garden centre will also be carrying a wider selection of evergreen trees and shrubs than we have in the past. We are excited to be able to offer our customers a variety of interesting and special plants from a well know and highly regarded grower. Hopefully you will be able to find that special evergreen for your garden this year.
We have also found a premier designer, manufacturer and distributor of fine garden accents this year that we are very excited to offer our customers. We will be carrying a selection of garden benches, statuary, and bird baths made of high quality cast stone in a wide range of styles. There is something special waiting for your or even some great gift ideas for that special gardener you know.
We are also finalizing plans for some fun and creative workshops this year and hope you will be able to join us as the dates become available. If you also have ideas for seminars or workshops you would be interested in please let us know.
